Just to let everybody know, I'm calling a hiatus, as I'm going out of town to help a friend recovering from surgery. I might be around a bit, but I can't say how much.

Hey all, Jake here. I think it's time for me to call a hiatus - just for a week or so. After playing Mami for so long, I'm starting to feel burnt out and frustrated, and I'm also due for a canon review. (She's developed quite a bit during her time in QoH, but refreshing myself on how she used to be should help a bunch.)

I'll be keeping up with existing threads the best that I can, and I'll be up for backtagging event things when I come back. Mami will be gone from the Gardens as of tomorrow!

THE GOOD NEWS: My company just landed a lucrative contract to build a beach house for some snowbirds, which means a nice raise for yours truly, if only temporarily. THE BAD NEWS: This means I am going to have such a workload for the next several weeks. Think 12 hour work days. For bonus points, I live about as far from the beach as might be possible in this county, so it's over an hour's round trip to the site.

So, you guys know what that means: EXTENDED HIATUS TIME. Tatsuki here is gonna be slumming it in the Necessities until I get back, and hopefully the bulk of my workload on the project will be done in time for that to happen in the month of March. Probably will be, barring some unexpected act of God, but then again, knock on wood, right?

I'm calling a full-on hiatus for the next two weeks, while I try to stop hacking up my lungs. I'll do tags when I feel up to them, but it's gonna be glacially slow, so... my apologies in advance.

Hot dang, I should have done this last week or so, but things got more troublesome than I anticipated. Due to work, school, things going on at home, and doing apartment searching/moving into, I'm gonna have to take a hiatus until (let's arbitrarily say) the 15th of March.

I apologize to anyone who I have threads going with (particularly Akiha and Ryoko) and promise I'll gradually get to them all eventually.

In the meantime, my activity will be ranging from sporadic to totally absent, so Excellen, Mion, and Her Imperious Condescension are going on hiatus!

To those I've dropped threads with, I want to say sorry right now. Since around last week or something, I've had to be dealing with some very personal things that haven't yet been resolved, but I'm looking to sort out.

I'm announcing a hiatus by proxy for Austria and Kyouko's mun. She has no access to the internet right now, but she's expected to be back by the 7th of February.

Long story short, I work for a company that does production work on contract for other companies, and we have way too much work to be finished within way too short a deadline and not enough people to do it. Which means longer hours for everyone.

So I'm going to be taking a hiatus for the next couple of weeks until my job gets under control. I may be able to tag here and there, but most likely I'm not going to have the energy. Tentatively I'll be back around February 11th, but we'll see what happens. Apologies to anyone I'm in threads with.
